The al-Qassam Brigades broadcast images of its fighters, together with the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, targeting crowds of occupation forces with missiles on the battle front in Gaza City.

Al-Qassam Brigades also broadcast footage of what it said was an Israeli march, captured during an intelligence mission in the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip.

For its part, the al-Quds Brigades said its fighters engaged Israeli forces in fierce clashes with machine guns and missiles in the center, west and south of Khan Yunis.

It said its resistance members hit an Israeli military vehicle in the vicinity of Hadar intersection with a “Thakib” barrel bomb. The al-Quds Brigade indicated that its resistance fighters targeted an Israeli Merkava tank in the al-Amal neighborhood, west of Khan Yunis, with an RPG shell.

For its part, the Israeli army announced the killing of Major David Shkori, deputy commander of the Iron League's 601st Battalion in the Combat Engineering Corps, during the ongoing fighting in the northern Gaza Strip.

This brings the announced number of Israeli officers and soldiers killed since Operation Al-Aqsa flooding to 563, including 233 since the beginning of the ground operation.

The occupation army also announced that 3 of its soldiers had been wounded during the past 24 hours, noting that 429 officers and soldiers had been seriously wounded since the war began.

According to Israeli military figures, casualties in its ranks reached 2,828 officers and soldiers since the beginning of the war on the Gaza Strip, including 1,304 wounded since the beginning of the ground offensive.

The occupation army indicated in a statement that its forces operating in Khan Yunis “were able to eliminate dozens of Palestinian terrorists through raids, sweeps and ambushes with the participation of the air force and navy.” It also arrested 80 people it described.
