Scattered Israeli raids and fighting with resistance in Khan Yunis

Israeli occupation forces intermittently bombard several areas of the Gaza Strip, centered on the city of Khan Yunis, using artillery and drones, while fighting and clashes continue between the Palestinian resistance and occupation troops.

In the past hours, an Al Jazeera correspondent reported that two displaced people were injured as a result of Israeli bombardment of a house in the vicinity of the European hospital in Khan Yunis.

An air strike along with artillery shelling was also recorded, targeting the center and west of Khan Yunis city in the south of the Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam also announced that it had targeted an Israeli Merkava tank with an Al-Yasin 105 shell in the Jourat al-Aqqad area, west of Khan Yunis.

For its part, the Israeli army on Friday announced the halt of a march which it said was launched south from the Gaza Strip during the night.

The army said fighting continued in the Gaza Strip for the first time since it began its ground campaign on October 27, a day after the Gaza regime announced its withdrawal from areas northwest and north of the Strip.

They attacked targets on the Gaza Strip's coastline as part of support for forces operating in the center of the strip, without specifying the nature of the targets.
