Today, Thursday, following the partial withdrawal of occupation vehicles, ambulance workers recovered the bodies of several martyrs from the town of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, while occupation forces attacked the headquarters of the Palestinian Red Crescent for the third time. Amid continuing clashes west of Gaza City.
Al Jazeera correspondent confirmed the deaths of 42 Palestinians, including children and women, in Israeli bombardment of the central and southern Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, and reported that the bodies of 14 martyrs arrived at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis after the occupation. Vehicles retreated from the vicinity of the hospital.
Two young men were killed and others were wounded in a bombardment of a house belonging to the Abu Fayyad family in the new camp west of Nussirat in the central Gaza Strip, the reporter said, adding that the Israeli raid targeted a house in Deir al-Nusirat. He confirmed that intense clashes were heard east of Burij and al-Maghazi camps in the central Gaza Strip, adding that clashes had continued since the morning in western Gaza.
For its part, the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) said dozens of people were injured by Israeli artillery and missile fire that targeted the al-Rimal neighborhood and Tal al-Hawa in Gaza City, but ambulances could not reach them.
South of the Gaza Strip, an Al Jazeera correspondent reported that Israeli gunmen intensively bombed the seafront of the city of Rafah, while occupation aircraft bombed vacant land on the Palestinian-Egyptian border south of Rafah.
For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent indicated that the occupation forces attacked its headquarters for the third time, housing displaced people in Khan Yunis, opened heavy fire around al-Amal hospital and then withdrew.
The Red Crescent said 12 Palestinians, including an employee and a volunteer, were killed and 6 others were injured in the shooting.

On the other hand, Israeli Haaretz said that the army burned Palestinian houses in Gaza in implementation of orders from its officers leading the fighting.
While the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper indicated that Israeli forces burned houses in Gaza “due to lack of explosives”.
The ongoing Israeli offensive against the besieged Gaza Strip has resulted in the deaths of 26,900 Palestinians and the wounding of 65,949 others, the majority of whom were children and women.
