Today, Tuesday, reliable sources revealed to Al-Khabar that the Court of Arbitration for Sport rejected the appeal of the candidate for the presidency of the Algerian Football Federation, Meziane Ighil.
The same source explained that the arbitration panel supported the Appeals Committee’s decision, which ruled that Meziane Egil was not eligible to run to succeed the resigned Jahid Zvezif and to compete with Walid Sadi, the only candidate for the same position.
It is noteworthy that the location of the electoral General Assembly scheduled for next Thursday, which was scheduled for the Marker Hotel in Algiers, has been changed and will be held at the Sidi Moussa Technical Center starting at ten in the morning.
