The Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities and Regional Planning, Brahim Merad, carried out a partial movement in the body of wilaya directors of Civil Protection, having affected 24 wilayas, a press release from the ministry indicated on Tuesday.
“After approval from the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities and Regional Planning, Brahim Merad, carried out, on the proposal of the Director General of Civil Protection, a partial movement in the body of wilaya directors of Civil Protection”, we read in the press release.
This movement, which affected 24 wilayas, provides for “the promotion of eight (8) senior officers to the position of wilaya director, the transfer of 16 wilaya directors”, “the retirement of three (3) wilaya directors and the end of functions for five (5) other wilaya directors,” adds the same source.
