The police of Kavaja have arrested a 41-year-old wanted man and sentenced to 10 years in prison for adult trafficking.
As a result of tracking and operational work, for the location, capture and arrest of citizens wanted for various criminal offenses, as well as based on information provided by police intelligence, for the location of a wanted citizen, as he was sentenced to imprisonment, the coded police operation “Decade” has been finalized.
In the framework of this operation, the citizen Xhevdet Xhafa, 41 years old, resident of Rrogozhin, was located in a wooded area in the village of Spille.
The Court of Appeal, Tirana has sentenced this citizen to 10 years of imprisonment for the criminal offense “Trafficking of adults”, provided for by Article 110/ai of the Criminal Code.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further actions.
