The National Gendarmerie Command has drawn up a special preventive security plan, on the occasion of school entry scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, aimed at providing security around all educational institutions and preserving the safety of students, according to what was reported, Monday, by a statement from the same security corps.
The same source explained that on the occasion of social and school entry (2023/2024) and “in an effort to contribute to its success and keep pace with it in coordination with the relevant authorities, the National Gendarmerie leadership wrote a special preventive security plan during which all available material and human capabilities were put in place.”
In this context, the National Gendarmerie units will ensure “the field presence of road security units across the network within the jurisdiction of the National Gendarmerie, in order to facilitate traffic movement,” as “National Gendarmerie members will be distributed within fixed and mobile formations represented by patrols and control points to ensure security and manage liquidity.” Traffic at the level of the axes leading to educational institutions, with the aim of providing security around all educational institutions, especially during periods coinciding with entry and exit times, to facilitate traffic movement and preserve the safety and security of students, and to ensure the security and safety of citizens and their property.
In the same context – the statement continues – “The National Gendarmerie, through regional teams, road security units and juvenile protection teams, in coordination with the competent authorities, will initiate a communication and awareness program for the benefit of the students as well as their guardians, on preventing the spread of social ills in the school environment and precautionary measures to reduce… Traffic accidents, with the aim of protecting and accompanying this category.”
