Today, Monday, in Algiers, the process of distributing 8,000 school bags for the benefit of children from needy families and needy groups in various states of the country was launched in Algiers, initiated by the Algerian Islamic Scouts within the framework of solidarity operations related to school entry 2023/2024.
By the way, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Algerian Islamic Scouts, Abdel Razzaq Khathiri, explained that this initiative, which comes in partnership with the mobile phone operator “Geezy”, aims to “participate in helping needy families who do not have the means to purchase school entrance supplies, and to deliver this aid.” To those in need,” and “it is one of the traditions of our organization, which is accustomed to solidarity with Algerian society.”
For his part, the National Officer for Solidarity, Relief and Community Service in the Algerian Islamic Scouts, Ahmed Ramadani, revealed that this operation included “8,000 school bags, which will be distributed by those in charge of scouting provinces across the country, which will contribute to the success of this solidarity operation,” noting that during this year The focus was on primary school students.
The same official added that his organization seeks, through such initiatives, “to bring joy to needy families and share it with them.”
In the same context, the acting general manager in charge of marketing for Jeezy Company, Shukri Barghouth, confirmed that “his organization aims, through this charitable operation, to bring joy to children and needy families.”
On the sidelines of the activities of the launching ceremony of this solidarity campaign, which was held at the International Scout Camp in Sidi Faraj, several places for fun and entertainment were organized for the benefit of the children who benefited from the first batch of school bags.
