In addition to the official and friendly matches of all national teams in September, the Albanian Football Federation will also organize the European tournament of the U-15 age group for girls, ‘UEFA Development’. This tournament will take place in our country on September 24 – October 2.
A development tournament that gives the opportunity to young red and black soccer players to measure their strength with their peers. In cooperation with the Football Federation, UEFA has decided that the challenges of this tournament will all take place in Albania, as apart from our national team, Malta, the Faroe Islands and Luxembourg will also participate, which will gather in our country. All matches are scheduled to be played at the ‘Home of Football’ fields on 27, 29 and 2 October.
The U-15 girls’ national team, led by coach Kreshnik Krepi, will be gathered in Durrës, where they will hold training sessions on the eve of this important and developmental tournament for this age group.
The tournament is scheduled to start on September 27, with Albania playing their first match against Luxembourg at 14:00, while on the same day, the Faroe Islands will take on Malta at 11:00. The second matches of the tournament will take place on September 29, with the Luxembourg v Faroe Islands challenge to be played at 11:00 and Albania v Malta to be played at 14:00. The final group matches will be played on October 2, with the Red and Black girls taking on the Faroe Islands at 2pm while Malta play Luxembourg at 10am.
In the following days, the list of players gathered by coach Kreshnik Krepi for this tournament will be announced.
