On Saturday, the Albanian U-17 national team started gathering and preparing for two friendly challenges against the Maltese team. The Reds led by coach Ardi Behari will hold the first meeting tomorrow at the ‘House of Football’ starting at 16:00, while on Wednesday they will also play the second match against Malta at the ‘House of Football’ at 16:00 :00.
The under 17-year-olds held two training sessions yesterday, while they are still training today at the ‘House of Football’.
The two attackers of the red and black U-17 team, Tedi Malaj and Bryan Gjyla, express their satisfaction that they are part of this gathering and that they will have the opportunity to represent Albania U-17 in these two important tests.
Tedi Malaj, the striker who plays for Partizan, underlined in his statement for fshf.org that the objective of the National Team is to win these two challenges, while he appreciated all the players called to this gathering.
The invitation from the staff of the U-17 team and the atmosphere in the team – I feel very good. The atmosphere is warm. The players are of high quality and I am proud to be part of the National Team again, as I have been in all the other age groups. I wish we win these two games and score a goal.
The objective of the Rossoneri – Our objective is to win every game. We are not afraid of any opponent as we have a lot of quality in the group.
Dreams for the future? – My goal is to play in the Premier League and be part of the first National team.
Bryan Gjyla, the striker of Feralpi Salo in Italy is seen as a very promising player for the future. The Albanian boy has been part of chain teams before, while he comes as a newcomer to the list called by coach Behari. Gjyla reveals to fshf.org what the atmosphere is like in the team, the objectives for the two matches and the goals for the future.
“I’m Bryan Gjyla, I play with Feralpi Salo’s team in Serie B in Italy. I feel very good that I have been called to this gathering and I wish we get a positive result in these two matches and prepare for the European Championship. I found a good atmosphere in the team, not only with the staff but also with the players. I feel that we can do very well” – says Gjyla, who has a dream: To be part of the A National Team.
“For myself, I hope to reach as high as possible, to the A team. I have to work hard, with sacrifice I wish to reach the A team” – concludes Gjyla for fshf.org.
