The police of Tirana, after the report filed by a 33-year-old woman, that on 11.09.2023, a citizen had stolen valuables, in her apartment, have organized and finalized the coded police operation “Rings”.
As a result of this operation, the citizen EA, 31 years old, resident in Tirana, was arrested for the criminal offenses “Theft”, “Production and sale of narcotics”, and “Production, possession, purchase or sale without permission of cold weapons” .
The 31-year-old is suspected of having stolen valuables (gold accessories) from a flat in the New Ring area, which he then sold to a jeweler on Dibra Street.
Following the actions, during the inspection of the apartment of the suspected author, the police services found quantities of suspected narcotics, cannabis and cocaine, two electric scales, pharmaceutical bags that serve to divide narcotics into doses, a shredder for narcotics , three masks, as well as four baseball bats, which were seized as evidence, along with the stolen accessories.
The materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further procedural actions.
