In the show “This Week” on News24, he talked about the political situation in the country, also focusing on the division in the Democratic Party.
During the conversation with journalist Nisida Tufa, he said that citizens should have alternatives within a political force they trust. He also stated that there is no reason to overlook political figures, but they should not be glorified either.

Suspension of funds for agriculture from the EU?
Hajdari: It is not good news. If you convince the EU that you don’t know how to manage the funds, then the line is getting narrower.
Concession of sterilization;
Shkëlqim Hajdari: Health, as it has been noted, is also a success story in Albania because there are dozens of buildings that have been renovated and equipped with new equipment. The minister in question moves to another cabinet and I do not see it in a negative aspect.
The split in DP;
Shkelqim Hajdari: If the entire opposition in the bloc will find the cause that unites them all, it can rise again and become strong. Being in the opposition and doing opposition cannot work if you think about where you will be in the next elections. There is a common cause for all the opposition and it is the way the vote is administered, how the country is governed, through competition. This can unite the entire opposition in Albania.
Bardhi-Berisha meetings?
Shkëlqim Hajdari: It seems to me that the opposition has fallen into the trap of an opportunity that was given to them to cleanse themselves, from all 30 years of politics. They continue to discuss names, while the causes should be discussed.
