The Annaba State Security Judicial Authorizations Squad was able to dismantle a criminal network specialized in drug trafficking whose activities extend to several states of the country, with 9 kilograms of it seized, as stated today, Saturday, in a statement by the Communications and Public Relations Cell of the same regular branch.
The statement explained that the same operation that took place during the past week resulted in the arrest of 3 suspects, including a woman, in addition to the seizure of a sum of money estimated at 500,000 DZD from the proceeds of drug trafficking and two tourist vehicles used to transport and trade drugs.
The same document added that investigations carried out regarding the activity of this network in coordination with the Anti-Economic Crime Squad of Annaba State Security revealed that two (2) people among the arrested group were suspected of involvement in a case related to forgery and the use of forged documents in official documents.
Based on the same statement, the two suspects were found in possession of forged administrative documents. They highlighted that all necessary legal measures had been taken against the detainees, who were between 29 and 36 years old, before presenting them before the Public Prosecutor at the Al-Hajjar Court.
