The focus is on Monaco, at 18.00 the UEFA Champions League group draw is held. 32 teams will participate in the groups, while there are 8 groups of 4. In the first pot there are strong teams, where it is worth noting that the winning teams of major championships and those that have won the Champions League and Europa League are included.
In the second pot, Real Madrid and Inter stand out, while Arsenal is also present, returning after several years in this competition. Pot 3 doesn’t contain many big names, apart from Milan and Lazio. In the fourth pot there are modest teams like Lens, Antwerp and Union Berlin. According to the rules, teams from the same championship cannot face each other.

The top two of each group will advance to the next round, where direct elimination begins. The third place teams from each group will go to the “play-off” for the elimination phase of the “Europa League”, where they will face the second place teams from the respective groups of the “Europa League” for a place in 1/ 8 finals.
Note: The final will be held in London, while this is the 69th season of Europe’s premier club football tournament organized by UEFA and the 32nd season since it was renamed from the European Champion Clubs’ Cup to the UEFA Champions League.
