A handwritten note from Apple founder Steve Jobs has set a record by selling for $175,759, 6 times its estimate.
In fact, an advertisement for the Apple Computer-1 written and signed by Steven Jobs, in 1976, is marked on the paper.
The note contains technical details about the first Apple computer and is signed by Steve Jobs. The note also includes the address and phone number of his parents, which at the time were Apple’s headquarters.
The letter was part of several Apple items up for auction, including a check signed by Jobs and company co-founder Wozniak that sold for $135,261.
