The national teams gathering centers and “young talents”… are two examples of poor planning

The Ministry of Youth and Sports, during the period of El Hady Ould Ali’s leadership of the sector, considered the possibility of merging the two projects with each other, after the authorities estimated the possibility of devouring each project for huge financial envelopes in conjunction with the economic crisis that cast a shadow over the country after 2014, before the ministry was guided later. To place the Young Talents Center under the tutelage of “Al-Faf”, which made the facility come to life at the beginning of 2021, after it was transferred to the Federal Youth Academy and the national team for under 17 years.
The project for the realization of the National Assembly Center registered in 2007, which was intended to enable the national teams to conduct their preparations locally and limit travel abroad, was subject to a financial evaluation process during four full occasions, which transferred the “programs license” from 500 million DZD to 1.615 billion DZD, but without making it possible to receive the project, until July 31, 2020, despite the availability of financial funds, for reasons generally related to the incompleteness of some works, such as the athletics track, air conditioning works, ceilings and cladding, In addition to related equipment.
