The National Railway Transport Company announced today, Monday, that the “Algiers-Taqourt” train, at Biskra station, has stopped exceptionally.
The company stated, on its official Facebook page, that this exceptional stop at Laskra station was due to the recent weather fluctuations and strong winds that blew the southeast of the country, which led to the accumulation of sand on the railway line in the Tamrna area between the two kilometers (PK180+000). and (PK193+000).
The National Railway Transport Company extends its sincere apologies to its valued customers for the inconvenience caused by this exceptional circumstance beyond its control, and confirms that its specialized teams are recruited to remove sand and free the tracks, in order to allow the resumption of normal train traffic as soon as possible.
