Imam Ibn Majah included in his Sunan from the hadith of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Among what befalls the believer of his deeds and good deeds after his death; Knowledge he taught and spread, a righteous son he left, a Qur’an that he inherited, a mosque he built, a house for a wayfarer he built, a river he ran, or charity that he took out of his money during his health and life, he will join him after his death.
In this hadith, the infallible, peace and blessings be upon him, clarifies that one of the most important ongoing charitable donations is knowledge, which is knowledge and its dissemination, for knowledge remains its effect, and its good deeds flow to its owner during his life and after his death, whether it is worldly or otherworldly knowledge. Legitimacy, which relates to the Book and the Sunnah of the sciences of interpretation, hadith, jurisprudence, morals and transactions, so teaching creation is one of the greatest worships that transcend benefit, if not the greatest of all.
And he said: “And a righteous son he left him.” The word “boy” includes male and female, so the son and daughter are included in that if they are righteous. For whoever is good at raising and caring for his children, God writes for him the reward of all the good deeds that his children do, and every honor that the parents teach to their children increases their status and rank. On the Day of Resurrection until a person reaches the highest levels, and that is the credibility of his saying, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: “He who calls to guidance will have a reward like the rewards of those who follow him, without that detracting from their rewards in the slightest, and whoever calls to misguidance will have a sin like the sins of those who follow him.” This does not detract from their sins in any way.” And his saying: “And a Qur’an he inherited” includes buying and distributing the Qur’an and gifting it to mosques or libraries. As for his saying: “or a mosque he built”, building and building mosques and establishing the rituals of God in them are good deeds and ongoing alms for a Muslim during his life and after his death: “Whoever builds a mosque for God, even if Like a cat examining its eggs, God will build a house for him in Paradise.” This includes those who contributed to its purchase or construction, or worked in it with his own hands, and the like.
Then the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, mentioned other forms of ongoing alms, saying: “Or a house for a wayfarer that he built, or a river that he ran, or alms that he took out of his money during his health and during his life, and he joins him after his death.” And he sought his honorable face.
Among the forms of ongoing good deeds are repairing roads and removing harm from them, and among them is building schools to teach people various sciences, and among them is contributing to building hospitals to treat the sick. On the authority of Anas bin Malik, may God be pleased with him, he said: Abu Talha was the most wealthy of the Ansar in Medina, and his most beloved money to him was Bayraha. Abu Talha stood up to the Messenger of God and said: O Messenger of God, God, the Blessed and Exalted, says: {You will not attain righteousness until you spend of what you love}, and the most beloved of my wealth to me is Barha’a, and it is a charity for God, so I hope for its righteousness and store it with God, so put it, O Messenger of God, where God shows you .
Among the ongoing good deeds: giving sheep, cows, or camels to the poor to benefit from their hair and milk: “Forty locks; The most generous of them are the goats, there is no worker who works with a trait from it, hoping for its reward and fulfilling its promise, except that God will admit him to Paradise with it.” sound, clocks, and more.
Among the treasures of charitable giving and ongoing good deeds: digging graves for the dead and burying them: “Whoever washes a Muslim and conceals it, Allah will forgive him forty times, and whoever digs for him and crates him (buries him) will be rewarded for him as a reward for a dwelling in which he will live until the Day of Resurrection, and whoever shrouds him, Allah will clothe him on the Day of Resurrection with silk and embroider Paradise.” “.
An ongoing good deed may be an easy act, yet it is a profitable trade that enlightens the grave of its owner, and he finds it displayed in the graves of the Day of Resurrection that weighs on his balance. God grants success.
