The police services in Oran were recently able to dismantle two networks specialized in illegal drug trafficking, arrest five people and seize a quantity of hallucinogenic pills and cocaine during two separate operations, it was learned today, Sunday, at the Directorate of State Security.
The two operations were carried out by the security interests of the Arzew Department and the urban security of the Isto district of Oran, based on information that the members of the two networks circulated these toxins at the level of the jurisdiction, so that their suspicious activity was monitored and monitored. A search and arrest warrant, according to what was reported by the Communication and Public Relations Cell.
The same source highlighted that the five members of the two networks, including those with judicial precedents, were arrested, in addition to the seizure of 378 hallucinogenic pills, 28.40 grams of cocaine, an amount of criminal proceeds amounting to 690,000 DZD, and a group of prohibited white weapons, in addition to two vehicles that were used to promote drugs.
A judicial procedure has been drafted against the detainees, according to which they will be brought to justice, as indicated.
