Algerian runners, Djamel Sjati and Slimane Mola, failed to reach the podium during the World Athletics Championships, which are currently being held in Budapest, Hungary.
The Algerian representative participated in the final of the 800-meter race, this evening, Saturday, where Suleiman Mola finished fifth with a time of 1.44.95 minutes, ahead of his colleague Jamal Sajati Jamal, who finished sixth with a time of 1.45.08 minutes.
The gold medal was crowned by Canadian Marco Arup, followed by Kenyan Emmanuel Wanyonyi, who got silver, while the bronze went to Briton Ben Pattison.
This failure puts the duo in front of the inevitability of good preparation in order to win a medal during the most important date of the Olympic Games in Paris, next summer.
