At least 4 people are dead after a shooting at a store in the heart of Jacksonville, Florida.
Local media reported that the suspect barricaded himself in a store in Jacksonville, Florida, during a standoff with police.
Mayor Donna Deegan said there are several people who have lost their lives in this mass shooting. She herself rushed to the scene pointing out the seriousness of the situation.
Jacksonville City Councilwoman Ju’Coby Pittman spoke of tragedy and said she understood the suspect was killed.
“People in this community are hurting and they have every right to be. You know, that doesn’t make sense. I’m very, very angry right now,” Pittman told reporters at the scene.
