Confidence was renewed in Muhannad Akli Ben Younes, president of the National Assembly of the Mujahideen of the National Liberation Front Federation in France 1954-1962 (the seventh term) for a new term, during the work of its general assembly held today, Saturday, in Algiers.
In a speech read on his behalf by a member of the association, Ammar Lounis, Ben Younes stated that the association “works to perpetuate the memory of the martyrs who were martyred in France in order to liberate the country from the yoke of colonialism.”
He pointed out that these mujahideen “were able to transfer the revolution to the land of the enemy, as they carried out throughout the month of August 1958 attacks on various strategic institutions in France, similar to the attack on an arms factory in Paris.”
He stressed that the main objective of this association is to “preserve the memory and the unity and sovereignty of the country.”
