This evening, starting at five o’clock in the evening, the Olympic Club Chlef will meet on the grounds of Salem Mabrouki Square in Rouiba, its guest Bandle Insurance of Nigeria, for the return leg of the first preliminary round of the Confederation Cup of African Football.
The “Shalfawa”, the champions of the Algerian Cup, seeks to compensate for the loss of the first-leg match, with a goal without a response, in order to ensure qualification for the next round of the competition.
The Olympic coach, Abdelkader Yaish, said in press statements before the match: “Despite the defeat, the atmosphere is good. It is true that a difficult task awaits us. We spoke with the players and thanked them for the efforts they made in the first meeting. We are in good conditions for preparation. We will try to enter strongly to score.” and guarantee qualification to the next stage.
The date of the match was moved forward from 8:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. due to a technical malfunction at the level of the floodlights at Salem Mabrouki Stadium.
It is noteworthy that the match, which will be run by a Libyan arbitration team, will be transmitted on the sixth Algerian channel.
