The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Lounès Magramane, charged by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, is paying a visit to the Republic of Niger from Thursday, speaking within the framework of the tireless and continuous efforts made by Algeria to contribute to a peaceful solution to the crisis in this neighboring country, indicates a press release from the ministry.
“Instructed by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Lounès Magramane is carrying out a visit to the Republic from today, August 24, 2023. of Niger, brother country”, we read in the press release.
This visit, specifies the same source, “takes place within the framework of the tireless and continuous efforts deployed by Algeria to contribute to a peaceful solution to the crisis in Niger, preventing this neighboring and brother country and the entire region from an increase in risks”.
The SG of the ministry will have as part of this visit “a series of meetings with personalities and senior officials of the Republic of Niger”, concludes the press release.
