Shadi Zalta, the media spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, said that the activities of the final of the “Egypt Schools Olympiad” competition in Suez Governorate will be held in the Suez sports team stadium, pointing out that the competition is between teams of talented students from Egyptian schools in three fields, which are general knowledge, and sports. , and entrepreneurship.
In a press statement, Zalta said that 16 schools were selected to participate in the competition, from students of the third year of middle school, first year of high school and second year of high school.
The speaker pointed out that the competition aims to develop learning skills and community participation, teach students teamwork through the competition, and ease the idea of curricula and study, and that the study should be an enjoyable education through school activities, taking into account the implementation of the initiative to revive the school theater.
He added that 16 schools participated in the General Knowledge Cups, and a number of intellectuals and stars of art, sports and society were hosted, and lectures were implemented in various fields.
And the media spokesman for the Ministry of Education continued: “Among the schools that reached the final is the New Suez Girls Secondary School, and it is the only school that won in all roles, in terms of the development projects competition, and the training of female and male students on community participation in the formulation of projects that benefit the Suez Governorate, so that The student will be able to participate and train students to formulate a project from the idea stage,” explaining that the students impressed everyone with great ideas, which made the Suez governor adopt part of them, which are distinct ideas, and it is an important axis that must be won.
Shadi Zalta said that among the schools that reached the final, Nabawiyya Musa Preparatory School for boys, and they won in general knowledge and sports, and Mustafa Musharfa Preparatory School, and they won in the field of projects, and the secondary school for girls also reached the final, indicating that 350 students participated in the competition, Each school is represented by only 15 students.
Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, arrived in Suez Governorate; To launch the celebration activities for the finals of the “Egypt Schools Olympiad” under the slogan “Together we grow” in Suez Governorate.
According to a statement, he was received by Major General Abdel Majeed Saqr, Governor of Suez, at the governorate’s general office, Khaled Saadawi, Secretary General of the Suez Governorate, and Yasser Emara, Director of the Education Directorate in the governorate.
The minister was accompanied on his visit to the governorate by Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister for Technological Development.
