And he continued, that the strategic stock of basic commodities in Egypt is completely safe, and the stock of wheat is sufficient for 3.5 months, explaining that the new wheat season will start in the next half of April, and we have a safe reserve of rice up to 3 and a half months, and a reserve of oil up to 5 Months.
And he added, First Assistant Minister of Supply and head of the Internal Trade Development Authority: “We made an order of poultry today, with a total of 25,000 tons from Brazil, and the meat has no problems at 180 and 190 pounds per kilo, and the cooled Sudanese meat is 165 pounds, which are reasonable prices and correspond to the needs of the market,” explaining : “There were increases due to the lack of fodder, so the state intervened.”
