The Drinking Water and Wastewater Company in Giza announced that the water will be cut off from the areas (Ard Al-Liwaa from Al-Mutamdia Road to Al-Majnouna Canal Road, Boulaq Al-Dakrour from Al-Majnouna Canal to Tharwat Bridge) from ten o’clock in the evening on Monday, corresponding to March 20, 2023 until eight o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, corresponding to March 21 2023.
The company attributed the reason for the water interruption to the work of Lieutenant General Kamal Amer’s axis project, the second part of the central sector, which requires cutting off the water, to connect the new 800 mm diameter water line to the existing 800 mm diameter line, which contradicts the path of the axis.
