A young man committed suicide by consuming an insecticide, today, Friday, at his family’s home. Due to family disputes, in the facility in the south of Sohag Governorate, the body was transferred to the hospital morgue, and the Public Prosecution Office initiated investigations.

And the Egyptian Dar Al Iftaa affirmed that suicide is a major sin and a crime against the soul and the law, and the person who commits suicide is not an infidel, and the guilt of this crime should not be minimized, as well as not finding justifications and creating a state of sympathy for this matter, but rather dealing with it as a mental illness that can be treated through specialists.
