Dr. Nevine Mokhtar, an Islamic preacher, commented on wife beating, pointing out that the wife beating was not done by the Prophet – may God bless him and grant him peace. On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with him, she said: “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, never hit anything with his hand, nor a woman, nor a servant, except that He strives in the way of God, and he never gets anything from him, so he takes revenge on his owner, unless something of God’s prohibitions is violated, then he takes revenge for God Almighty.” She said: “Women don’t strike, group.”
Mokhtar added, during her meeting with the media, Engy Anwar, on the “New Egypt” program, broadcast on the satellite channel “etc” today, Wednesday, that beating, insulting, or assaulting the wife, whether by beating or insulting, is forbidden by Sharia, and the one who does that is sinful, and contrary to the teachings of the true religion. Pointing out that marital life is based on accommodation, affection and mercy; The Almighty said: “And among His signs is that He created for you wives from among yourselves that you may find tranquility in them, and He put between you affection and mercy.
And she continued: “Wife beating Sharia commanded the husband to treat his wife kindly, until the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, made the criterion of charity in husbands based on their good treatment of their wives.
And she continued: “I refuse to beat the wife, and the law urges gentleness in dealing between husband and wife, and the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, called for gentleness in the whole matter; he said: “Gentleness is not found in anything but that it beautifies it, and it is not removed from anything except that it disgraces it.
