Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said today, Saturday, that NATO continues to support neo-Nazis in Kyiv, noting that the EU-Ukraine summit aims to weaken Russia and expand the hegemony of the United States and NATO.
“The summit held yesterday in Kyiv aims to weaken Russia and serve the hegemonic aspirations of the United States and NATO, as the European Union continues its reckless support for the neo-Nazi regime in Kyiv,” Zakharova said, according to Russia Today news channel.
She added that the participants in the Ukraine-EU summit will be deeply disappointed, and they must justify before their compatriots the sources that the West used to finance the bloody geopolitical game until the last Ukrainian, stressing that the goals and objectives of the special military operation of the Russian armed forces in Ukraine will be achieved.
Zakharova explained that the European Union sarcastically reaffirms in a joint statement after the summit “the commitment to fully respect the rights of persons belonging to minorities,” pointing out that this matter is completely contrary to the principles on which the European Union was once built.
In a related development, the British Ministry of Defense praised the Ukrainian forces, saying that they were “quick in mastering the controls” of the British tanks that London sent to Kyiv to support them in the war against Russia.
