The Meteorological Authority announced the expected weather details during the period from Saturday 04 February to Wednesday 08 February 2023.
Cold weather prevails in the early morning, moderately hot during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and northern Upper Egypt, cold in the northern coasts, warm in southern Sinai and southern Upper Egypt, cold at night in the north of the country until Greater Cairo is very cold in the south of the country.
Saturday 04 February
Light to medium rains, with an incidence rate of (approximately 40:50%) in areas of the northern coasts and northern Lower Egypt, at intermittent intervals.
Wind activity on areas of the northeastern coasts at intermittent intervals.
Sunday 05 February
Medium rains with an incidence rate of (approximately 40:50%): on areas of the northern coasts and north of Lower Egypt, light in the evening extending over areas of southern Lower Egypt at intermittent intervals.
Wind activity on areas of the northern coasts that stir sand and dust in areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, Canal cities and North Sinai, at intermittent intervals.
Monday 06 February
Medium rains, with an incidence rate of (approximately 50:60%), on areas of the northern coasts and north of Lower Egypt, at intermittent intervals.
Light to medium rains, with an incidence rate of (approximately 50%) in areas of southern Lower Egypt, the Canal cities, and central Sinai, at intermittent intervals.
And wind activity in areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, South Sinai and the south of the country at intermittent periods, which increases the feeling of cold weather.
Tuesday 07 to Wednesday 8 February
Light to medium rains with an incidence rate of (approximately 40%) in areas of the northern coasts and northern Lower Egypt, at intermittent intervals.
Wind activity in areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, South Sinai and northern Upper Egypt, at intermittent periods, which increases the feeling of cold weather.
And it called on the General Authority of Meteorology to take all necessary preparations and measures to limit the effects of expected weather phenomena.
