Books – Islam Lutfi:
Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture, received Major General Khaled Fouda, Governor of South Sinai, as part of a series of her meetings at the 54th Cairo International Book Fair.
During the meeting, the Minister of Culture appreciated the joint cooperation between the Ministry of Culture and the Governorate of South Sinai, through the joint activities that are held through the various sectors of the Ministry of Culture.
For his part, the Governor of South Sinai congratulated the Minister of Culture on holding the 54th session of the Cairo International Book Fair, and the great success witnessed by this session, stressing Egypt’s cultural and creative leadership, and the ability of the Ministry of Culture to organize events of this magnitude. Khaled Fouda thanked the Minister. Culture, on the efforts of the Ministry of Culture during the period of the climate conference, which was represented in the establishment of a number of pavilions that display the Egyptian heritage crafts, and the holding of dozens of artistic concerts for the teams of the cultural palaces.
During the meeting, the Minister of Culture and the Governor of South Sinai discussed the establishment of a number of artistic and cultural events in Sharm El-Sheikh, with the aim of supporting tourism and promoting the city. They also discussed the establishment of an “International Art Biennale” on the land of the city of Sharm El-Sheikh, and the establishment of many workshops and heritage events within The Camel Festival next month, and the two sides also discussed the establishment of a huge library in the governorate’s public office.
