Port Said – Tareq Al-Refai:
Khalil Muhammad Abdullah Khalil, Nourhan’s father, who is accused of killing her mother and her lover, “the child” in her home in the Fayrouz neighborhood of Port Fouad, Port Said Governorate, demanded a retrial of his daughter or re-interrogation and questioning of the case.
“Khalil” added, in press statements: “I am the husband of the victim and the father of the accused, and I will continue to seek my wife’s right throughout my life, but my daughter has the right to defend herself, and this is what I demand to re-try her, or at least question and interrogate her.”
And he continued: “My daughter is a university student and works as a teacher, and she cannot have a relationship with this boy. We blackmailed and he blackmailed my daughter, whether he or his family. My daughter has never slaughtered a chicken, and if I saw her with my own eyes killing her mother, I would not believe, and she and the boy told the investigation authorities 3 different stories.” Which means that there is something mysterious or has not been revealed yet.”
The accused’s father affirmed his full respect, appreciation, and trust in the investigation authorities represented by the Public Prosecution as well as Egypt’s just judiciary, and that his speech did not intend to cast any doubt on them, but all he wanted was the right of his late wife from the original offender, who is “Hussein” – the lover’s child.
The Attorney General had ordered the referral of a girl to the Criminal Court, and the referral of an accused child under the age of 15 to the competent Child Court, accusing them of premeditatedly killing the mother of the accused.
The Port Said Criminal Court, headed by Counselor Mr. Abdel Aziz, and the membership of the counselors: Ahmed Ali Genena, Imad Abu Al-Hassan Abdullah, and Ashraf Obaid Ali, decided to refer the case papers of the student accused of killing her mother in cooperation with her child lover in Port Said Governorate to His Eminence Al-Mufti and set the next February 18 session for pronouncement. While the Juvenile Criminal Court decided to punish the child by placing him in a punitive institution, “care homes”.
