Kafr El-Sheikh – Islam Ammar:
A campaign of judicial officers at the Bandar Desouk Supply Department in Kafr El-Sheikh seized the owner of a tourist bakery in possession of large quantities of subsidized municipal flour, which is prohibited from being circulated outside the subsidized bread system.
Information has been received by the Supply Control Authority in the Bandar Desouk Supply Department stating that the owner of a tourist bakery has collected large quantities of subsidized municipal flour, which is prohibited from being circulated outside the municipal bread system, for the purpose of using them in tourist baked goods.
Amr El-Ena, head of the Supply Control Authority at the Bandar Desouk Supply Administration, formed a campaign from the agency under the supervision of Yousry Abu Hussein, the director of the department. It included all of the judicial control officers in the administration, Muhammad al-Gohary, Wael al-Masry, Muhammad Qandil, and Ibrahim Abdullah, to control the quantities of flour collected by the owner of the tourist bakery.
The campaign went to the bakery and raided a warehouse belonging to its owner. Inside it, 42 sacks of fortified municipal flour were seized. Each sacks weighed 50 kilograms, with a total of 2 tons and 100 kilograms. They were kept in the Disuq cylinder mill at the disposal of the Public Prosecution, in preparation for a decision to be issued in this regard.
Report No. 1694 of 2023 was issued at the Desouk Police Station, and the Public Prosecution Office was notified to initiate investigations.
