The activities of the Luxor African Film Festival, in its twelfth session, will start in the lobby of the Luxor Temple, tomorrow evening, Saturday, corresponding to February 4, and will last for about 7 days.
The administration of the Luxor African Film Festival had previously announced the honoring of the artist, Mohamed Ramadan, among a group of artists and filmmakers in Egypt and Africa.
The Luxor African Film Festival, in its twelfth session, is witnessing the presence of Mahmoud Hamida, honorary president of the festival, scriptwriter Sayed Fouad, founder and president of the festival, and director Azza El-Husseini, founder and director of the festival, in addition to that the Luxor African Film Festival dedicates its twelfth session to the spirit of each The Egyptian artist Salah Mansour on the occasion of his (centenary), the Senegalese artist Othman Sembene because of his (centenary), the Algerian artist Shafia Boudraa, the Tunisian artist Hisham Rostom.
The first session of the Luxor African Film Festival was held in 2012. It is an international film festival that takes place in the city of Luxor. The Luxor African Film Festival aims to support and encourage African film production and partnership between the countries of the continent.
It also aims to consolidate the human and political ties between the peoples of the continent of Africa, and tries to create a network of continuous communication between African filmmakers in all types of films, and to help the African film to reach the world.
