The General Coordinator of the National Dialogue and Head of the State Information Service, Diaa Rashwan, said that the Suez Canal is not just a waterway in Egypt, but rather one of the symbols of Egypt’s entire modern history from 1805 to the present.
Rashwan added, during his presentation of the program (New Egypt) on (ETC) channel this evening, Friday, that the channel is exposed to propaganda campaigns, rumors and lies aimed at manipulating the feelings of Egyptians that are linked to the channel, explaining that the Suez Canal Authority issued a statement denying the validity of the publications circulating about the contract. With a company to manage its services, Diaa Rashwan listed the details of the statement.
Rashwan pointed out that the circulated forged document claimed that an agreement was concluded with a non-Arab country in the region, and that, according to this forged agreement, a company would manage the Suez Canal for 99 years.
Diaa indicated that whoever chose No. 99 specifically seeks to play in the consciousness of Egyptians, to stir up the painful memory, which is the Suez Canal concession contract for shareholders (France and Britain), whose duration was approved for 99 years, i.e. since the opening of the canal in 1869 AD, which was to be It ends in 1968 AD.
He said that the late President Gamal Abdel Nasser decided in 1956 to nationalize the canal for the benefit of the Egyptian people, which caused the tripartite aggression against Egypt, noting that No. 99 suggests dependence on the re-occupation of the Suez Canal at the hands of foreign forces.
The General Coordinator of the National Dialogue confirmed: “The publications are fake and forged, and those who forged made several mistakes, including the alleged signatures.. The alleged agreement established a first party representing the Suez Canal Authority Fund, but the Authority Fund Law has not yet been issued until there is a party authorized to sign as a party to the fabricated and forged document.
He pointed out that the signature of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in his capacity as director of this fund, was forged, which did not happen in the first place, as the fund does not have a manager, but rather a president, who is Lieutenant General Osama Rabie, according to the law that received initial approval from the House of Representatives.
He explained that the signature on the forged document of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi came with the full name, but all agreements and protocols and everything related to the President of the Republic do not write in it except the binary name, which is Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
He said that the forged document also said that the one who witnessed this document was Mustafa Kamal Madbouly Nassar, and this is the name of the quartet of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister, but the Prime Minister did not sign in this way and this signature is forged, pointing out that what testifies to the documents is the President of the Republic and not the Prime Minister.
