Beni Suef – Hamdi Suleiman:
Residents of the village of Al-Shantour, which is affiliated with the Samsta Center, southwest of Beni Suef, found a live newborn baby girl in the fields adjacent to one of the center’s secondary roads.
Major General Osama Helmy, Director of Security in Beni Suef, received a notification from Major General Mansour Al-Deghaidy, Director of Criminal Investigation, that the residents of the village of Al-Shantour found a baby girl, in the fields adjacent to the agricultural road that connects the villages of Al-Shantour and Qaftan Al-Gharbia to the Samasta Center.
A team of detectives moved to the location of the incident, and it was found that she was a newborn baby, dressed in all her clothes, and had no apparent signs.
The child was transferred to the hospital for a medical examination, and a report of the incident was issued. The Public Prosecution ordered the child to be placed in a nursery, and the criminal investigations men are intensifying their efforts to uncover the mystery of the incident.
