The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched a new transit visa for those coming to the Kingdom “by air”, which allows those passing through to perform Umrah, visit the Prophet’s Mosque, move around and attend tourism events.
Those wishing to travel apply for a visa via the electronic platforms of “Saudi Airlines or Flynas”, to be passed automatically to the unified national platform for visas at the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for immediate processing and issuance, and sending it to the beneficiary via e-mail.
“Masrawy” monitors the ticket and room fees in Makkah hotels and the required papers as follows:
– The price of the ticket without a visa within the “Your Ticket is a Visa” program is linked to the price of the flight ticket, the airport of the interface, and the class that the traveler books on the plane.
– The average ticket price (round trip) via “Saudi Airlines or flynas” ranges between 8 thousand and 11 thousand Egyptian pounds, without having to pay Saudi visa fees.
In addition to this amount, fees for paying the room reservation amount for accommodation in one of the hotels in the Kingdom.
The average room price for 4 nights in Makkah hotels, according to Saudi hotel reservation sites, ranges between 1,000 and 4,000 pounds, depending on the region and distance.
– By adding the 4 and 8 thousand pounds, the total lowest price for Umrah within the “Your Ticket is a Visa” program for Egyptians is about 13 thousand pounds.
– This total value does not include internal transfers from the airport to the residence and the sanctuary.
Documents required to obtain a ticket, a passport and two personal photos.
– The visa does not need a Umrah barcode because it is a transit visa.
It is worth noting that the digital transit visa is free and immediate and will be issued with the travel ticket, and its validity extends to 3 months and residence in the Kingdom for a period of 4 days.
