Heavy rains, accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds of up to 90 kilometers per hour, fell on all Lebanese lands, including the capital, Beirut, in the first storm of its kind during the current winter season.
The Lebanese received the storm with great joy, as the storm revived the winter tourism season, on which a large segment of the Lebanese rely on income for a whole year because of the sports and tourism activities that take place in the designated areas on the tops of the mountains.
