The report of the Operations Room of the Ministry of Local Development, which was presented to Major General Hisham Amna, Minister of Local Development, stated that the room continues to follow up on the measures taken by the governorates that are subject to heavy rains.
According to a statement, the report indicated that the port of Burj Al-Barullus was closed this morning due to high waves, with light to medium rain continuing to fall on the cities of Baltim and Burj Al-Barullus, and work is underway to remove the accumulations of rain.
Major General Hisham Amna confirmed that the report indicated that rains of varying intensity fell in some cities of the Beheira governorate, and light to medium rains in the centers of Minya al-Nasr, Dimna, Nabaruh, and the city of Dekernes in Dakahlia Governorate, and the rainwater pools were raised in these cities.
Medium rains continued to fall on the neighborhoods of Al-Montazah First, Central, East, West, Al-Jumrok, Al-Ajami, and the roads (Alexandria / Matrouh – Matrouh / Dekheila – Matrouh / Al-Bitash), and the executive bodies are currently removing the water accumulations, while the cities of Al-Hasana and Nakhl in North Sinai are exposed to unstable weather and strong winds. With dust, the general condition is stable in the rest of the governorates, with clouds and wind activity.
The Minister of Local Development directed the continuous state of readiness in all operating rooms in the ministry and the governorates subject to rain, and coordination with the central operations room in the Information and Decision Support Center in the Council of Ministers, to follow up the situation on an ongoing basis, and take the necessary measures.
