The Egyptian National Railways announced the operation of a new service with air-conditioned third-class cars between Alexandria and Aswan and vice versa.
This will be as of Wednesday, corresponding to February 1, 2023, when it was decided to operate Train 3006 with third air-conditioned cars from Alexandria to Aswan, departing from Alexandria station at 21:45, arriving at Cairo station at 00:25, departing from it at 00:50, and arriving at Aswan station at 13:30, according to the attached schedule.
As of Thursday, corresponding to February 2, 2023, Train 3007 will operate with third air-conditioned cars from Aswan to Alexandria, as it departs from Aswan station at 10:00, arrives at Cairo station at 22:25, departs from it at 23:00, and arrives at Alexandria station at 1:40, according to the attached schedule.
