Today, Tuesday morning, the main streets and roads in the governorates of Cairo and Giza witnessed traffic jams on most roads. This is during the arrival of employees and workers to their places of work, and the presence of traffic men in the streets to work on regulating traffic.
Some of the densities that appeared in the circular roads, including the top of the Khosus area and Al-Marj heading to the Peace Tunnel, as well as the top of the Konisa and Al-Munib area heading to the highway house.
Some sizes also appeared at the beginning of the 15th of May Bridge coming from Lebanon Square and Gamaet El Dewal and heading to Zamalek and Cairo, so it is preferable to take the El-Galaa Bridge. The same applies to the top of the Gamaa Bridge coming from Giza and heading to Cairo.
A slowdown in traffic on the ring road from Carrefour, Maadi Al-Basateen, heading from Mariouteya to El-Munib, and also from El-Warraq to the Agricultural Road.
Traffic density appeared at the top of the ring road in the Al-Salam area and inside the tunnel for those coming from the regions to Cairo via the agricultural road, as well as the matter from Al-Munib and on its way to the Autostrad and the assembly and in the opposite direction for those coming from Maadi to the Giza areas, as well as the matter in the areas of the Fifth Settlement and on its way to Al-Basatin and Zahraa Al-Maadi.
Some condensations appeared at the top of the gardens bridge coming from the corner and heading to Al-Fangari, as well as the top of the Al-Matariyya bridge coming from the cables heading to the conscription and Heliopolis regions, preferring to use the Saray Al-Qobba bridge, and some condensations appeared at the top of the Sayyida Aisha bridge coming from the stream of El-Oyoun and heading to the castle and the city center for that. Al-Malik Al-Salih Street and Qasr Al-Ainy Street are preferred.
Traffic congestion on the highway from Hassan Maamoun to Makram Ebeid, and the Nile Corniche to the road from Maadi to the Ring Road.
Salah Salem Road is witnessing intermittent traffic, especially in the Al-Urouba tunnel area and the direction of the airport, as well as the next October Bridge from Giza towards Cairo. The axes and entrances of Nasr City witnessed medium traffic densities, especially from the beginning of the platform road to the first Abbas, and the densities extended to the axis of the Fifth Settlement.
In Giza, traffic works well, except for the University metro area. It is preferable to use University Street and Murad Street as an alternative.
The bridges that transport traffic between Cairo and Giza, including the El-Galaa, El-Sahel and El-Gamea bridges, function well without traffic congestion.
Some condensation also appeared in front of the university metro station in the direction coming from Faisal Bridge and heading to Dokki, as well as the top of the Giza Metal Bridge coming from the pyramid heading to the Giza areas.
The 26th of July axis is seen on the road coming from October and Sheikh Zayed and heading towards Lebanon Square, so it is advised to take the Rawd Al-Farag axis.
And on Sudan Street in front of the university metro station, high densities appeared for those coming from Faisal Bridge to the Dokki areas, as well as the Saft axis house for those coming from the Ring Road to Cairo University, and the Ahmed Orabi axis can be used.
Moving densities appeared in the Saft al-Laban axis heading from the Ring Road to Sudan Street.
The ring road is witnessing moving densities going down Bahr Al-Azam Street to the Dokki area to Al-Galaa Square, a slowdown in the movement of cars, and some densities above the Mariouteya Ring heading from the desert to the Giza areas and through the Fayoum Desert Road, up to Hadayek Al-Ahram and down to Al-Remaya Square.
The Operations Room of the General Directorate of Traffic monitors the movement of vehicles at the highest axes and fields, using the traffic services deployed on the roads, and the movement of cars is monitored by means of surveillance cameras, to monitor any traffic densities in the axes, with the deployment of traffic cranes on the roads to remove any traffic obstacles, whether accidents or breakdowns.
Coordination has also been made with traffic departments at the level of the Republic to provide traffic services, traffic relief vehicles and motorcycles, and coordination with the operations room of the General Traffic Department to notify the state of the roads.
