The Ministry of Education and Technical Education has started actual preparations for the general secondary exams for the current academic year 2022/2023, and the ministry is preparing to form committees within educational directorates and departments to hold interviews to select the heads of the general secondary examination committees for this year.
Sources at the Ministry of Education indicated that personal interviews for the heads of the high school exams committees will begin in the coming days.
And the Ministry of Education and Technical Education had closed the door to electronic application for those wishing to work as heads of control and management committees, in preparation for the 2023 general secondary exams.
The Ministry stated that those who meet the conditions and controls must apply after printing the form, a statement of job status, a copy of the national ID card and a development proposal, and submitting it to the headquarters of the General Administration of Examinations during the period from 15 to 17 January, provided that the candidacy is in accordance with the following controls and conditions:
First: Special conditions for those who delegate or assign, the head of a regulation and monitoring committee or an agent, and the head of a management committee or an agent (according to General Circular No. (1) of 2019 regarding participation in public examination work).
1- Holds a high qualification for the committee chairman, and that is preferred for the committee deputy.
2- The head of the committee/deputy of the committee should hold the first job grade or the equivalent of teacher positions (at least a senior teacher).
3- Obtaining an excellent grade for those subject to Law No. 81 of 2016 regarding the civil service and an efficient assessment for those subject to Law No. 155 of 2007 and its amendments in the adequacy report for the last two years.
4- No less than three years of experience in exam work in a supervisory position within the administration committee or the system and control committee. Head of department (room) or deputy of department (room).
5- Availability of personal and leadership characteristics that contribute to the advancement of work.
6- He should not hold the post of general manager for the sake of public interest.
7- He should not be working in secondary schools affiliated to the committee for which he is nominated.
8- He should not have relatives from among the employees of the committee he is nominated for up to the fourth degree.
Second: Candidacy rules
(For the one who delegates or assigns a system and control committee chairman or agent, and a management committee chairman or agent):
1- Submitting a proposal to develop the work system for the nominated place.
2- He should not be a technical guidance worker supervising general secondary schools affiliated to the committee for which he is nominated.
3- He should not have been referred to retirement before August 31 of the same year
