Books – Alaa Omran:
A symposium entitled “Public awareness is one of the pillars of national stability” was concluded at the headquarters of the Police Research Center at the Police Academy, on the occasion of the celebration of the 71st Police Day.
The symposium resulted in a number of recommendations, most notably the continued concerted efforts of all governmental and non-governmental institutions to raise public awareness of all groups and sects of Egyptian society, especially the youth group.
The Police Academy “Police Research Center” organized a symposium entitled (General Awareness… One of the pillars of national stability) with the participation of a number of leaders of the Ministry of Interior and a distinguished elite of professors, security experts and specialists, representatives of the Military Research Authority and the Center for Strategic Studies at Nasser Higher Military Academy, and representatives of some state ministries and agencies government, and in the presence of a number of students from military and police colleges, Egyptian universities, and youth from the Ministry of Youth and Sports; Awareness by the Ministry of the Interior of the importance of raising awareness of the dangers and challenges facing the Egyptian state, and a belief in the importance of raising public awareness among citizens, and on the occasion of the celebration of the 71st Police Day.
The symposium dealt with a number of important topics, most notably (the role of thought and opinion leaders in creating awareness – the role of security media in achieving public awareness – the role of art and culture in achieving public awareness – intellectual immunization against extremist and destructive ideas and its impact on achieving awareness – global variables and their impact on the awareness industry – Raising awareness of the dangers of rumors and their impact on public awareness – developing the values of loyalty and belonging and its impact on achieving public awareness).
The activities of the symposium received remarkable interaction from the participants with the topics of the symposium. They thanked the Ministry of Interior for its keenness to support their role in protecting their country.
