Books – Saber Al-Mahlawi:
The artist, Hassan Youssef, submitted a complaint to the Public Prosecutor, in which he accused those in charge of two YouTube channels of spreading false news that would offend him and his wife, the artist, Shams Al-Baroudi.
And it was stated in the notification submitted by Shaaban Saeed, the lawyer in cassation, representing the artist Hassan Youssef, that among the false news that was circulated was a news item under the title “The divorce of Hassan Youssef and Shams Al-Baroudi after 50 years of marriage.”
Al-Balagh added that these channels not only published false news, but also published some offensive pictures of his client and his wife, with the aim of profiting and increasing the number of viewers and followers of these channels.
The communication added that the defendants abused the wife of his client, the artist, Shams Al-Baroudi, and their goal behind this was to profit and increase interaction in order to achieve views for them, which constitutes a crime that requires punishment.
At the end of his communication, Saeed called for taking the necessary legal measures, opening an investigation into the incident, apprehending the perpetrators, bringing them to criminal trial, and closing those channels that broadcast on YouTube.
