Flynas stated in a statement today that, once tickets are issued on flynas flights, passengers will be able to apply for a transit visa via the flynas.com website, by automatically passing it to the unified national visa platform at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to process Issuing the digital visa instantly and sending it to the beneficiary via e-mail.
Bandar bin Abdulrahman Al-Muhanna, CEO of flynas, explained that this service contributes to increasing the number of Umrah pilgrims, tourists and businessmen visitors to the Kingdom, and said, “Saudi Vision 2030 has laid the foundations for cooperation between the legislative and executive sectors in the country on the one hand, and the private sector on the other hand, to serve the objectives of The Kingdom is in all sectors, and today we see a practical application of this integration and cooperation by granting national air carriers the authority to receive a request for issuing a transit visa, which facilitates the procedures for obtaining it for those who wish to visit the Kingdom.
Al-Muhanna stressed that this service will contribute to strengthening the Kingdom’s position as a global center for travel and business by facilitating quick business visits to the country, and as a point of contact between various countries and continents of the world, indicating that it comes in line with the civil aviation strategy to reach 330 million passengers, and link the cities of the Kingdom with 250 international destinations and 100 million tourists annually.
It is expected that thousands of tourists will benefit from the transit visa to attend the various cultural and entertainment events that are held throughout the year in various cities of the Kingdom, in addition to the pilgrims who will be able to perform Umrah rituals in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and visit the Prophet’s Mosque in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, and it will also represent an opportunity for businessmen from different sectors. countries of the world to easily enter Saudi Arabia, end their business and deals, and hold meetings with their counterparts inside the Kingdom.
