It was informed in a press conference at the Abdul Karim Sahithabisharad Auditorium of Bangla Academy that 901 units have been allocated to 601 institutions this time. Bangla Academy premises and Suhrawardy Udyan will be held in an area of 11 lakh square feet. This time the theme of the book fair is ‘Read books, make the country, Bangabandhu’s Bangladesh’.
In the press conference, the director general of Bangla Academy, the organizing authority of the book fair, Muhammad Nurul Huda said that the fair will run from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm every day except on holidays. However, visitors, buyers and readers will not be allowed to enter the fair premises after 8:30 pm. The fair will start from 11 am on holidays.
