Abdul Hamid urged the government as well as various organizations, educational institutions, parents and family members to come forward so that the children can be energized by the spirit of the liberation war and contribute to the construction of Bangabandhu’s dream of Sonar Bangla.
Mentioning that children are the future leaders of the nation, the President said, they will bear the responsibility of the country in the future. For this, children should be made good citizens.
In the event, the head of state said that the influence of literature and culture in creating a generation with creative talents is immense. Along with education, it is important to facilitate the path of mental development of children by involving them in various fields including art, literature, sports. Not only the children of the privileged families, but all concerned should come forward with a non-discriminatory attitude towards the welfare of the underprivileged children of all levels.
