There are four people in the team. Salma apa, Shamima apa, me and Chanchal. Bicycles have been taken to many places with them before. Very strong as a team. Two tandems. One is red, the other is green. Apart from the color there are some minor differences but there is no special difference between the two bikes.
Both bicycles were repaired as much as possible. Of course, nothing special was done. Because, the use of bicycles of this size is very less in Bangladesh. So you have to rely on your own wisdom, if any danger occurs. Additional parts were taken. A great box was also found to carry these.
The luggage is not small at all. Both the bikes weigh around 40 kg. With that will be added our necessary things, camera, laptop, this-that. Four people can take a total weight of 80 kg as check-in luggage free of charge. And seven kg in hand as a carryon. Therefore, in any case, more than 80 kg of goods cannot be taken. It may seem that 80 kg is a lot. But actually it is not. The extra parts, tyre-tube, chain, pedal taken for the bicycle, weigh 15 kg. A bit excessive. But if there is any danger, where else can that land be found?
