Media outlets reported that two people were injured in a shooting incident that occurred in Silwan, occupied East Jerusalem, today, Saturday.
It was reported that settlers shot a person after he targeted them with gunfire at a settlement outpost in Silwan, East Jerusalem.
The Israeli ambulance crews at the scene of the operation indicated that two people were wounded by gunfire, a 22-year-old whose condition was classified as serious, and another 45-year-old whose condition was classified between medium and serious, and they were transferred to the hospital.
Hebrew media reported that the injured were a father and his son.
The Jerusalem Post said police had arrived at the scene and the shooter had been neutralized.
Today’s attack comes less than 24 hours after 7 Israelis were killed in a shooting attack that took place in the Neve Ya’akov settlement near the town of Beit Hanina in East Jerusalem, while the perpetrator was shot dead by police.
